Drum Nature Workshop

First Class really enjoyed participating in our Drum Nature Workshop with Neil. The workshop was designed to complement the music curriculum:

• listening and responding
• performing
• composing

The children all had an accessible and enjoyable experience of music making. The workshop encouraged a sense of confidence in music irrespective of previous experience. There was a great emphasis on creativity, teamwork, listening and having fun using different drums and percussion instruments from around the world. The Children learned about working together as an ensemble as well as learning to play and compose rhythms.
